All students in public schools deserve:
A well balanced education
Quality fine arts instruction
Protected instructional time for arts eduction
Opportunities to pursue their passion
Congress is trying to take that away.
A fine arts education helps to develop fine motor skills in students, it expands cognitive development through the recognition and interpretation of music symbols (students who play instruments) and notation. These high school students are shown to have higher SAT and ACT test scores.
