thankful. day 1 & 2.

Psalm 100

A Psalm for giving grateful praise.

"Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladeness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is GOD. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."
day 1.

i am thankful for the house that i live in. the house that my husband works hard to provide for us. the house that we call home. we prayed and looked for over a year for our home, and the Lord answered our prayers one Sunday as we visited a random open house driving down Meander Street. it is all that we will ever need. it keeps my family warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and provides a place to gather and give thanks with our family when they come to visit.

we may not have extra bedrooms, or a fancy bathroom, but our house is always open and happy to have friends, family, and anyone who wants to come and visit.

day 2.

i am thankful for our dog. Romulus was our first child, and takes a very far backseat to Owen and now baby number 2 on the way, but he is a good dog. he protects us and our house. warns us of unwanted people in the alley. and keeps us safe. he is a good and loving dog and i am grateful for his protection.
