it's getting ugly

No one never told me about this. No one tells you how terrible you are going to feel about yourself, only 10 weeks into this gig.

Because I'm definitely not feeling a pregnancy glow going on here. All I'm feeling is fat.

My clothes are tight. Some don't fit me. And the ones that do make me feel like a stuffed sausage.

I can't really go out on a shopping spree. Those clothes won't fit me in a few months.

There are 4 skirts on the floor of my closet right now.

And I'm in a wedding in 1 month and have to fit into that dress I ordered almost 2 months ago.

It's getting ugly and all I feel like is a heffer.

Didn't someone mention from zero or like six months somewhere? That way I wouldn't feel fat, just pregnant. In pregnancy clothes, not the ones hanging in my closet!

The bad news is it doesn't get better from here. But you will feel the glow especially when you feel that baby move for the first time. Sit back and enjoy it you will be back in those bikini's in no time. The baby is worth the pregnancy you will forget all the rest of it the minute you see baby etter.

You will feel better soon! It's hard at first. My sister is in the same spot. She called me complaining this weekend about not wanting to buy maternity clothes yet but needing something bigger to wear. Just go out and buy some cute dresses! It will be okay and yes way worth it!

I hear you sister! It was like that for me too. When you get that cute baby bump you will feel much better. It is so much fun..I loved being pregnant. The hard work is all worth it in the end when you get to hold that precious baby.

It shouldn't be too difficult to make a fake bump to get you through the ambiguous phase. Maybe a round throw pillow rigged to a belt. Or just make a t-shirt that says "Yes, I'm pregnant. I haven't just been snacking."
